The staff at the Boozer Home Design Center can help homeowners, builders, and remodelers sort through the overwhelming task of designing a kitchen. Let us introduce the lines we carry, educate about the options available, and give an over view of the process
We carry seven different lines of kitchen and bath cabinets, everything from builder′s grade to complete custom. The brands are: Aristokraft, Diamond, Decora, Executive, Door Components, Forrestown, and Gepetto. Each of these companies has their own dedicated websites, so please follow the links for even more in-depth information.
All of the Boozer Home Design Center′s kitchen and bath cabinets are factory made. That is a great benefit to you! It allows many finishing options, construction options, and organization options. The lower priced brands are limited in the color choices (this helps keep the price down), and the higher price brands are unlimited - even offering color matching! Do you want paints? Stains? Glazes? We can do it.
Construction varies from Brand to brand, but all brands allow upgrades in their construction. For example, Decora, and Gepetto/Forestown have plywood construction standard. Plus solid wood dovetailed drawers with smart stop full extension drawer slides. The others come with furniture board construction with available upgrades to plywood construction including solid wood dovetailed drawers with full extension glides.
Think beyond storage. Think ORGINIZATION! Check out the Diamond website to get just one example of award winning organization ideas. We offer roll out trays, lazy susans, spice racks, pull out waste baskets, message centers, super pantry cabinets... the list goes on.
So, you want to get started?
Step 1. Make an appointment with a designer.
Its okay, appointments aren't that scary. We just sit and talk about what you want to do. The goal for this step is to see what we are up against. So, bring a floor plan or a rough sketch of your space, pages you′ve ripped from magazines of kitchens you want to emulate, and pictures of what you have now. This helps us get a feel for what you want. Appointments can take an hour or more. And we may accomplish step 2 at the same time. P.S. you don't have to make an appointment, you can just come by and browse the show room, pick up some literature, and have a couple questions answered. Feel free to come scout us out!
Step 2. Select a Cabinet.
With some input from the designer you should be able to select a cabinet line. (brand, wood species, color, and construction grade) The goal for this step is to finalize your choices. We have seven different cabinet lines, so we are sure we have something that can meet your needs.
Step 3. Establish a budget.
You will get a FREE ballpark estimate once you've completed steps 1 and 2. This can include an estimated price for installation, counter tops, and hardware if you request. The goal for this step is to establish how much you think you want to spend. It usually takes 2-3 days to get the estimate back to you. (Let us know if you need it sooner.)
Step 4. Design.
Once you are comfortable with the designer, the cabinets you have selected, and the budget you and the designer have established, the next step is a full design. The design fee is $500, and is put towards your cabinet purchase. (i.e. take $500 off your cabinet purchase). This lets us know you are serious before we put forth the time, effort, and resources for a complete design. The design fee includes a site visit to measure, 3D computer renderings, and revisions.
As Cabinet designers at the Boozer Home Design Center we realize that this is a very important project to undertake. A kitchen remodel adds more value to a home than any other remodeling project, and nothing makes a new home impressive than a beautiful kitchen. Please come by and let us talk to you about your project. It will be a pleasure to meet you.
